"This loafer was named after my Grandfather, George, who was the son of a shoemaker in Manhattan in the early 1900's. My 'Papou' George, was taught the importance of quality footwear and how to identify it from a young age. When I was growing up he would share this insight with me. He lived his life serving others as a doctor, in the Coast Guard, to teaching medical students at a university, to traveling to Africa on mission trips to take care of people in need. I'm grateful to have had him in my life as a role model to aspire to become more like...
